IMPORTANT!
Please avoid selecting titles with an unusual ISBN when requesting materials from other schools through the Accessit Interloan process.
Why:
Items without an ISBN are assigned a Book Ref # instead of an ISBN. In each school's database, the same numbers exist for different titles, causing incorrect titles to be sent to the requesting school. Accessit will fix the duplicate Book Ref # issue in early January.
How:
When requesting a book in the Management app, the provided list will give you the title with the ISBN under it. Those without an ISBN will show the Book Ref #, which usually starts with a. _000 . Do not select this title; instead, choose another with a typical ISBN listed.
Example: Management App > Management > Interloans > Make New Request. The search for Number the Stars provides many copies. See the example highlighted in orange with the Book Ref # under the title.

Or, if you request from the Web App, click the book cover to reveal additional book information. The ISBN will appear below the publication year.
Example: When selecting the book cover from the results in the Web App, the ISBN shows as a Reference number instead. (See the screenshot below with the arrow). Do not select this one.
Interloans - Additional End of Semester Info
Please review your Interloan Our Request and External Request list before December 20th.
Please DENY any requests you do not plan to send. This will allow the requesting schools to delete the Interloan, which will help clean up their Interloan list. Please do not allow External Loans to sit without an Accept or Deny. Each day, schools should visit their External Request list and send available items. If the item is not available, please choose Deny so the school can plan a different solution for getting the book.
If you have any Interloans you would like removed from Accessit, please contact the school that has not Accepted or Denied your request. Once all schools deny the request, you can delete the Interloan.
Starting in January, we will remove last year’s CIRC accounts that include the building abbreviation. Example: ABMCIRC
If you are using this username and password, please reach out if you need the updated CIRC account info that was sent in August.
