What is the Problem?

During a study of ecosystems we learned about how humans impact the enviornment in negative ways including pollution, deforestation, desertification, building dams and overpopulation. I wonder if humans are impacting the environment in positive ways, especially with more awareness of how specific habitats are affected in the ecostysem. When I think about habitats I wonder how animals are affected and if there are specific ways humans could help animals without disturbing their natural environment.
