American Revolution Timeline

Your assignment is to create a timeline of the important events of the American Revolutionary War.  You will use a Web 2.0 tool called Timetoast to create the timeline.

Action Steps

1)  Type your information on a Word document which includes the following information:  date, why it was important to the war, important people who were involved. Your paragraph should be no longer than 4 sentences.

2)  You must use each of the following events that can be found in chapters 5-7 of your textbook:

 Battle of Bunker Hill,  Battles of Lexington and Concord,  Battle of Monmouth, Battle of New York,

Battle of Princeton, Battle of Saratoga, Battle of Trenton, Battle of YorktownDeclaration of Independence, Treaty of Paris

3)  Once you have all your information typed on a Word document, watch the video to register for Timetoast.com.

4)  After you have registered, watch the video on how to create your timeline. You will add your pictures as you add each event to the timeline. This will allow you to cite your pictures as you find them.

5) You will need to print your timeline to turn in to your teacher. Watch the video on how to print your timeline.
