1. Login to Noodle Tools  

2. Title- Last name, First Name--Selected Topic

Ex. Wayne, John--Horseback Riding

3. Share with Social Studies teacher

4. Research question: What is so great about (selected topic)?

7. Cite at least 2 sources before taking notes--All Sources Due by End of Class Tuesday, October 2nd!

Database-->Copy & Paste the given citation--How To Video

Book-->Use the ISBN number to import the citation--How To Video

Website-->Pull Information and plug into the correct fields--How To Video

8. Cite all images

a) Decide if the photo is on a website or database

b) Select-Photo or Image (born digital)-Include:

Name of website (ex. National Geographic)

URL (ex. www.nationalgeographic.com)

Date-if you can-Copyright date works

Title of photo/image

c) OR...Use Photos For Class website

Cite Photos for Class as a website in NT

Download any picture you want to use from the site  --> Caption contains the citation.

Impact on Ancient Egypt-Significance--why was this place important?

Major Event-Event and Effects--time to build, any battles fought there?

Additional Information- 5 Interesting Facts or Activities 

If you have an Object, you need a note card on each of the following subtopics:

Description-Definition, describe what it looked like, the time period it was in effect

Purpose-Location and Function
