It was great to see everyone last week! Please review the information below. Have a great weekend!

Parent Teacher Conferences
As you (hopefully) have some uninterrupted time in your library during conference week, please complete the following items -

📍 Quarterly Reports: Locate your building’s shared folder in Google Drive. (You may want to bookmark this so you can return to it throughout the year easily. If your Drive folders are like mine, it is difficult to find what I need.) Please check the Budget tab for accuracy. Due October 24th.

📍Database Document: Each building has a folder with quarterly reports and a database file. Please review the database file and add any building library subscriptions to the document.

Example of where to locate the file in your shared library Google Drive -

Cells A:1-F14(ish) are protected, so I can import data from the master spreadsheet into your building-specific sheet. Place your information where it says, “info goes here.”  If you do not have any building-specific databases, please change “info goes here” to none.

Would you like uninterrupted time to work on your Web App Dashboard (elem) and Libguides (middle school)? Would you like support from Cristy and Becca while you edit your site?

We reserved rooms in the SSC building* on Thursday of Parent/Teacher Conferences Day for librarians to come and go. This is optional.

Cristy will email all administrators letting them know of this option. Come and go however it works best with your PT conference schedule. Not mandatory to attend.

Thursday, Oct. 24th
MS LibGuides Work Day – Bison Room/SSC – 7:30 am-4 pm
ES Dashboards Work Day – Frontier Room/SSC – 8 am-4 pm

*SSC Building: This building is located on the District Office campus, north of the Education Services building (where we usually meet). It houses IT and other departments. Once you enter the building, go up the stairs (elevator available too) and take a right.  The two conference rooms are available around the corner.  We have an ice machine, refrigerator, and microwave if needed.

Friday’s PL resources

Noodletools: View Noodletools resources, including presentation links, NT support page, and more.

PebbleGo: Access Andrea's presentation and how to access your building's PebbleGo link.

Gale: Provided presentation and links from Hannah along with helpful Gale resources.

Libguides:  Resources to improve the design and usability of your library's Libguide site (secondary resource only).

Cristy and I have been added to a Union Catalog focus group to help provide developers with feedback about the various ways the UC can improve. We have a running list of items that we started last year.  If you would like to add anything not included, please click here for the list and add additional information.  (Please add your name so we can follow up with you when the developers have questions.)
