Book Trailers: Images & Video

Find your Images

Find your images/make your own video

Images -- select images that show the tone of the book: scary, suspenseful, futuristic, romantic, etc.

Are there any symbols or metaphors that stand out, what do you think the characters look like, how do you picture the setting?

You may use your own drawings or photos or choose copyright friendly images.

For images, try to find 640x480 pixels or larger.  Often you can choose to click on the image for full-size.  Keep track of your photo credits.  Even if they are copyright friendly you will need to cite them since they are not your own original work.

Search for images and video on royalty-free sites.  Use our links to the right for copyright friendly images.

You may also want to create your own video footage.  Just be sure to figure what format your video tapes in!  This may be important later when you are ready to work with the footage.  Our computers are not the latest and greatest and work with older file types.

Be sure to include this statement after your works cited slide(s)
