Acting is an introductory course in dramatics. Emphasis is placed on acting, developing roles and performing. Class activities include pantomimes, interpretations, monologues, improvisations, duets, scenes, and one act plays, as well as student directed projects and audition techniques. Students are asked to lead and see plays of their own choosing, write critiques and keep a journal.
