In Noodletools, go to the top, right corner and choose New Project.
Provide a title, choose the citation style (MLA or APA) and leave the citation level at Advanced.
When deciding on a citation style, MLA is used for ELA classes and APA is used for Science and some Social Studies classes.
If you are using sources from a database, you are very lucky! Each database has an export to Noodletools option. (See details below.)
For websites, you will need to fill out the boxes asking for details (author, title, publishing company, date and more).
For each source, click Options and then Edit.
You are now in the citation info for the source. Scroll to the bottom and look for a box, Annotation. Complete your paragraph and click SAVE.
Go to the top toolbar in Noodletools. Click the share arrow.
Choose Print/Export to Google Drive.
Follow the prompts in Google Drive to open the document.
