Day in the Life: Create a Day in the life Tik Tok for Sherlock Holmes. Please include at least 7 events.
Draw: Create a flyer to recruit new detectives to work for Sherlock Holmes. Use Canva or Google Slides.
Creative Writing: Write your own mystery short story. Imagine you are writing about a case Sherlock Holmes is solving.
Watson or Sherlock: Who are you more like? Explain in a google doc who and why. Please write at least 7 sentences.
Draw: Imagine you are at the scene of The Speckled Band, draw the scene on paper. Add colors and details.
Word Search: Get a Sherlock Holmes word search from Mrs. Tomas
Days 2-4
You will be turning the short story, "The Speckled Band" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle,
into a comic strip or graphic novel.
Below are the requirements and resources you will need.
1. This should be done individually or with a partner.
2. Electronically or On Paper??
If you choose to make yours electronically, please use Canva. Go to Classlink 
and click on Canva 
You should search 'Comic Strip' on Canva templates to get started.
If you choose to make yours on paper, please get the templates from Mrs. Tomas
3. Each comic should include the following:
*Title Page (this should have title, authors name & your name)
*The story should be "The Speckled Band"
*You should have all necessary characters
*Characters should have facial expressions and actions
*There should be text and dialogue
*Comics should have images and colors
*The setting and mood should be present
*The comic should be a minimum of 5 pages
4. Submit your finished comic strip to your teacher.
Please download your comic and then submit it through Canvas.
