Noodletools - Getting Started

Noodletools

If Noodletools asks for validation, see the librarians for the password.  Email us if you are at home and need help logging into the site or getting the validation code.

Print/Export Annotated Bib

1.  Add all your citations and paragraphs to Noodletools.

2.  Click the Print/Export button from the toolbar.

3.  Choose to export to Google Docs or Word.  

4.  Save the file as a pdf.

5.  Upload the document to the Canvas assignment.

Ebsco Databases (Academic Search Premier, History Reference Center)

How to add the paragraph to Noodletools

1.  In Noodletools, click the Sources tab at the top of the page.  You should see all your citations.  To provide your annotation, click on each citation.

2.  Scroll to the Annotation box for each citation.

3.  Copy or type your paragraph(s).

 

If you are not citing from a database, you will need to manually input the information.

To begin, click New Source (green button) from the Sources tab.

Choose Website.

Choose from the list of websites.

Complete the information provided on the website.
