Situation:  You are an Art History and Spanish major studying abroad in Madrid.  You have the amazing opportunity to intern as a curator working with art from the Golden Age at the Museo del Prado.  You are collaborating with a friend that has an interest in modern art and is interning at the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía to the south on the Paseo del Prado. 

The museum directors ask that the two of you create an informational video (up to 3 minutes) that compares and contrasts two works of art by two Spanish artists from different periods to post on the museums’ websites.  The video must include the following:

• a brief history of the artists’ lives
• images and a description of both paintings
• a comparison and contrast of the paintings
• your opinions regarding the artwork and/or artists’ styles
• credit to the sources that provided the digital images of the masterpieces
