Introductory social studies course designed to familiarize students with the world utilizing the five geographic themes (location, place, human/environment interaction, movement and regions) and elements of culture. Emphasis will be placed on students developing the ability to apply geographic skills and knowledge to their community, state, nation, world and themselves.
