Accessit Printables:
Accessit provides printables that you might enjoy using.  The items include bookmarks, welcome to the library graphics, flyers, and more. Click to view.

School Photos:
Are you wondering if your building has updated photos yet? Click here for a list of buildings from which I have received photos. If your building has not been updated, reach out to your office, PTO, or school's photo company. Typically, photos go to the Synergy team, and then I am notified when they are available. The turnaround time from when I am notified to photos imported into Accessit is 24 to 48 hours.

If a student enrolled late for photos or retakes, you can add a student photo individually.  Click here for directions.

Databases:
A reminder that the State Library no longer subscribes to Tumblebooks.   You have access to Bookflix.  Use the link below to access the state subscription to Bookflix.

Web App Dashboards Pop:
Accessit recently sent out directions to help our Dashboards “Pop”.  Click here for information about creating a dashboard News Item with a colorful background.

Databases:
While state databases should not typically ask for a password while the device is located in Kansas, it can occur.  For example, you may want to link to a specific document in an Infobase database like Today’s Science.  It may prompt for a password.  If so, click here for a generic password for Blue Valley.

Let me know if you notice other state databases behaving similarly.

Google Forms - New Feature - Ratings:
In his newsletter, Tony Vincent shows a new feature in Google Forms: Ratings. This could be used in many ways, including rating books for a book talk activity, ranking sources for a website evaluation and research activity, and more.   Click here for more information.
