What do I put in my infographic?

Be sure to include the following in your infographic!

  1. Diagram of your balloon
  2. Description of assembly and materials
  3. Narrative of building process
  4. Estimated volume of balloon
  5. Calculations of the molar mass of air: split these into three seperate charts (% or air, molar mass, and molar mass in air)
  6. Calculations of air density
  7. Calculations of the # of moles of gas
  8. Calculations of the mass of air inside the balloon
  9. Mass of balloon in grams
  10. Calculation of the overall density of your balloon and the hot air within your balloon
  11. Theory: Why did it rise?
  12. Novelty Information
  13. Citations of web sources and images!

You will also submit a hard copy of all your calculations. Calculations for the mola mass of air will be included in one chart for the hard copy. 

Piktochart Link

Inserting Google Sheet Data into Piktochart

1) In Piktochart, select "Tools."

2) Select "Dynamic Data."

3) In Google Sheet, click "File," Publish to Web."

4) Click "Publish" and copy the link into piktochart.

5) Select the chart format you would like and give it a title.

6) Click, "Insert Data."

Submitting your Infographic

1) Click the "download" button in the top right corner of the editing screen.

2) Go to the "Dowloads" folder, rename your document as you and your partner's name, and copy/paste it into your teacher's Resource Drive.
