Mrs. Grimaldi is excited to help you in the Library this year and she is not just a librarian for books! She can help you access the Wi-Fi, complete research, use items in the makerspace, find a book, talk about life or TV shows, or whatever else you may need. She also loves to read and will happily spend time discussing a book with you and would love your suggestions on what to read next. Stop by and see her anytime!
About Mrs. Grimaldi
Mrs. Grimaldi is loves being the librarian at West. She previously worked at West as an ELA teacher. She graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Education and later received her Master’s degree from Emporia State University. When she is not at West Mrs. Grimaldi loves to spend time with her husband, her two boys and their cat. She likes to read, cook, go on runs or hikes, and watch her favorite Bravo TV shows and listen to podcasts!
How can Mr. Geist help you?
Mr. Geist is always ready to help problem solve. He has a wide range of knowledge, and if he can't find the answer, he always tries to point you to a person or direction to find the answer. Mostly though, Mr. Geist is always ready to listen to students, whether that is listening about the book you're reading, the music you like, or something that is going on in your life.
About Mr. Geist
Mr. Geist graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Education, and started his teaching career at BVW. After two years in BV, he and his wife left to teach in Rio de Janiero. When Mr. Geist moved back to the US, he was hired back at BVW to teach English. After receiving a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Baker, and a specialist certificate in Library Science from Fort Hayes State, Mr. Geist left BVW to be the librarian at Harmony Middle School. Mr. Geist spent two years as the librarian at Harmony before again returning to West, this time as the librarian!
