Please review the Order in Process 2024-25 and the School Orders 24-25 tabs to be sure you received the orders for your library. If there are any orders or boxes not received, please let me know by next Friday 22nd.

Self-Check Kiosk:
Fix for the cursor not appearing in the boxes to type or scan, or the keyboard not auto-populating:
- Click on the gear icon in the bottom right corner.
- Enter the self-check password.
Turn on Auto Focus Barcode Field.
- Click Save.

Student Photos in Accessit:
As school photos are sent to IT from the photo company or building, I will then upload them to Accessit. It can take a few weeks from the school photo day before I see the files.
To check the status of your building, click here to see if your photos have been uploaded into Accessit.
If you have a new student who arrives after picture day and you would like to add a photo in Accessit, click here for directions.
Update your Web App with Carousels:

With the updated Library iPad carts, take a few minutes to customize the iPad for you and your students. The following link provides information about how to download apps in Self Service and how to add your library website as a Web App icon to the screen. More information about ways to use the iPads with students will be added to the Libguide soon.
Library iPads - Getting Started
Becca is reviewing all iPad apps in Self Service to ensure compatibility with the new iPad version and iOS. A list will be provided once complete.
- Google URL Shortener Ending: If you created shorter URLs in Google in the past, it appears those items will remain functional - for now. Click here to view what will continue to work and what will not work.
- Quizizz is now called Wayground.
- Wonderopolis closed July 31.

Middle School:
Please make sure you have added Culturegrams to your Libguide's database page. Click here for an email with details about how to add and log in information.
Becca also added Bloom's Literature database as an optional source you may want to add to your ELA guides or database page. It provides author information, summaries, and literary criticism about various works. You can find it when adding a database link to your guide - look for Bloom's Literature MS.
If you need help with adding Culturegrams or Bloom's, put in a BV Care ticket. Becca would love to help with this!
High School:
Thank you for updating your database links to include your school code. We know it isn't the prettiest option, but it will help in so many ways. Please reach out if you have any questions.
