Computer Timing Out with Accessit
If you notice that Accessit is timing out frequently (requiring you to log back in), you can adjust Chrome settings to help. It may not completely eliminate the issue, as Accessit is browser-based, but it should reduce the frequency of logins.
In Chrome, go to Settings (three dots in the toolbar on the right, or Chrome (top toolbar/menu) > Settings).
Click Performance from the left sidebar.
Look for Memory and turn off Memory Saver.*

In the General box above Memory Saver, click the Add button to add the Accessit website. (remoteus.accessit.online)

You are done.
*When turning off Memory Saver, it may impact the battery longevity of the computer. If you are using your teacher laptop and do not charge throughout the day, you may not want to turn off Memory Saver.
Please put in a ticket if you do not see an improvement. I am working with Accessit to explore ways to improve this, so your feedback is greatly appreciated.
Accessit Issues
When encountering any issues with Accessit, like the one listed above or other glitches, try the following to see if it improves -
*Clear your browser settings in Chrome
*Restart your computer
*Make sure Chrome is up-to-date
If you have any questions about these steps, please put in a BV Care ticket.
Web App Search - Specific Copy - Newer Feature
Search for a barcode in the Web App. (I'm not exactly sure when you would use this in the Web App compared to the Management app, but I wanted to pass along this update.)
Go to the Web App > Search > Advanced Search.

From the left sidebar, select Copies.
Enter the barcode in the field. Click Search.

Cristy and Becca attended the AASL conference and presented on two different aspects of the library program: how we use our data to inform decisions and our librarian leadership model. To view all AASL sessions, click here for a list with descriptions. Many recorded sessions from the conference will be placed in the ALA eLearning site (coming soon). If you are an AASL member, you have access to this site.

Shout-out to Elaine Johnson for presenting at AASL in St. Louis. Her session, recorded by AASL, was well-attended. She was a great representative of our library program!
